How to build Lego Smoke

A great way to add detail to your models is smoke. If  you're building apocalypse, castle, city, or even space, smoke is always a great way to add something extra to your builds. I've collected 3 types of smoke that I use for my builds.

Each of these types use all white pieces, some of which are rare. The simplest and easiest smoke is shown below.

This simplest type of smoke is the easiest to make, because it's simply built from stacked 1x1 round plates.

The second type of smoke I thought up one day because I happened to have just bought  a bunch of 1x1 plates with shields on one side, which is what this smoke is made of.

The 1x1 plates are stacked facing different sides, so the shield side is never right above another shield.

The third (and my favorite) type is using stacked ice cream pieces. However, these pieces are rarer then the previous ones, so they're hard to get your hands on. I only have seven of these pieces, but it's a very good style of smoke.

This smoke also looks great whenever it's coming out of a chimney.
